Coverage: Material of Sections 11.1-11.10 of Stewart's Calculus and Sections 2.1-2.6, 3.1-3.6, 4.1-4.8, and 6.1-6.3 of A First Course in Linear Algebra that are covered in lectures 1-42. For a detailed list of topics see the contents of Lectures.

Rules to be enforced during the exam:

1.     1. You will not be allowed to take the exam if you arrive after 09:15.

2.     2. You will not be allowed to leave the exam within the first 20 minutes.

        3.You must turn off your mobile phones during the exam.

3.     4. You must present your Student ID in order to take the exam.

4.    5. Once the exam starts, you may ask any question about it within the first 10 minutes. No questions will be answered afterwards.

5.     6. During the exam you will not be allowed to share pens, pencils, erasers, and any other items.

6.     7. No calculators, computers, or formula sheets are allowed in the exam.

7.     8. If you ask to leave the exam, say for example to go to toilet, you must hand in your exam paper before you leave. You will not be allowed to return and continue the exam.

8.     9. You must show all your work and can use any result derived or proven in the lectures unless if you are asked to reproduce the derivation or the proof of that result.
