Use of the final exam as the make-up for quizzes and midterm exams:
As described in
the syllabus, if you have missed any of the quizzes or midterm exams and
have a valid excuse, your final exam grade will be substituted as the
grade in these quiz or midterm exams. If after doing so, you cannot
satisfy the eligibility condition for taking the final exam
(minimum 15 points out of 60 in quizzes and midterm exams), you
will fail the course and will not be eligible to take the make-up for
final that will be offered next semester for the students who were
eligible to take the final exam but failed the course.
Make-up for final exam: If you are eligible to take the final exam but miss it for a valid reason, you should inform the instructor by sending an email by 17:00 Monday, January 13 and arrange that a valid medical report and absence form sent to me. The date and time of the make-up exam will be determined by the registrar. |
