The 3rd International Workshop on Pseudo-Hermitian
Hamiltonians in Quantum Physics will be held from Monday June 20
to Wednesday June 22 at
Koç University
(with June 19th and 23rd being
respectively the arrival and departure dates). Koç University is
located in a hillside forest overlooking the black sea. Its
distance from the city center is about 30 km and to the
Bosphorus about 5 km.
Following the tradition set in the previous two workshops of
this
series that were held in 2003 and 2004 in Prague and given
their overwhelming success, our plan is to have a relatively
small meeting focusing on the latest developments on the subject
of non-Hermitian Hamiltonians with main focus being on pseudo-Hermitian
and PT-symmetric Hamiltonians and their applications. Unlike the
previous two workshops in this series, we have included among
the
main topics to be covered in the workshop “Resonances and
Irreversible Quantum Dyanmics”.
Following the workshop
there will be a mini-school entitled: "Some
Recent Developments on Relativistic and Non-Relativistic Quantum
Mechanics,"
which will be held at the
Feza Gürsey Institute
located at
the Asian part of Istanbul, June 23-28.
