Travel:

Istanbul has two international airports, Atatürk Airport that is located on the European part of the city, and Sabiha Gökçen Airport that is in the Asian part. These are respectively at a distance of 45 and 60 kilometers to Koç University and Fuat Paşa Hotel.

The most convenient means of transportation from the airports to Koç University and Fuat Paşa Hotel is to take a taxi. Taxi fare from Atatürk Airport is about 35 Euros. The fare from Sabiha Gökçen Airport is about 50 Euros. The airport taxis are quite reliable, and you pay the fare shown on the taxi meter with no additional charges.

You can also take the city bus (number 96T) from the Atatürk Airport to Taksim square or (number E3) from the Sabiha Gökçen to 4. Levent. From Taksim or4.Levent take the metro to Haci Osman Station (which is the last station towards Northeast), and take a taxi to Koç University of Fuat Paşa Hotel from there. This should cost less than 20 Euros for the whole trip, but takes more time. There is also a city bus from the Haci Osman metro station to Rumelifeneri  (Bus number 150) which passes by Sarıyer and the university. Another option will be to take a city bus from Takism Square directly Koç Univerity Bus number 40). This takes much more time.

From Atatürk Airport you can also take the metro to Aksaray, from there take the tramway to Kabataş, and then the city bus to Sarıyer. Each of these cost about 1.5 Euros. Fuat Paşa Hotel is within a 20 minutes walking distance from Sarıyer. Taxi will change about 4 Euros for this distance. To go from Sarıyer to Koç University you can take the minibuses called Dolmuş. They run between 07:30 am to 23:00 and cost 1 Euro. Alternatively, you can take a taxi that costs about 5 Euros. The following webpage includes some information about the metro to Aksaray and the tramway to Kabataş.
