Postdoctoral Research Fellows: Postdoctoral Research Fellows are needed for research at the Koç University Microphotonics Research Laboratory in the area of optoelectronics. Compensation is competitive and will match the qualifications of the individual. Koç University Postdoctoral Fellowhips, TÜBITAK Fellowships, and TÜBA Fellowhips are available to qualified candidates.

Requirements: A Doctor of Philosophy degree in Natural Sciences is required.

Graduate students in Electrical Engg, Materials Science and Engg, Optoelectronics and Photonics Engg and Physics: Koç University Graduate School of Sciences and Engineering is accepting applications for graduate programs in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Optoelectronics and Photonics Engineering and in Physics. The successful gradute student is expected to perform experimental research at the Koç University Microphotonics Research Laboratory in the area of optoelectronics  and photonics. The financial aid from the Koç University Graduate School of Sciences and Engineering is in the form of teaching/research assistanships and covers the tuition costs, a stipend for living expenses, and health insurance. An interested person should contact the Koç University Graduate School of Sciences and Engineering. Fellowships are also available in the form of TÜBITAK Ph.D. Fellowhips for Turkish Students and TÜBITAK PhD Fellowships for Foreign Students.

Visitors: Faculty from other universities can be affiliated with the Koç University Microphotonics Research Laboratory for periods ranging from three months to a year, or even more. Visiting faculty can generally work on one of the research projects or on related research. Visitors can use all the facilities of the Koç University Microphotonics Research Laboratory, and will have full access to the University Computing Facilities and Library. The funding for foreign visitors can be obtained in the form of TÜBITAK visiting scientist fellowship program or European Commission Marie Curie Fellowships

Visiting students generally work on one of the research projects or on related research. Visitors can use all the facilities of the Koç University Microphotonics Research Laboratory, and will have full access to the Koç University Computing Facilities and Library. The funding can be obtained by IAESTE Turkey.

Koç University Undergraduate Students: During the academic year, we typically have couple undergraduates involved in the experiments, often for Independent Study courses and honors project PHYS 390, PHYS 490, and PHYS 491, and/or working as Undergraduate Student Assistants. We often take on undergraduate researchers through the work study program.

Requirements: Some laboratory experience or knowledge of optoelectronics or programming is desirable.

Koç University Summer Research Interships for Undergraduate Students: During the summer, we accept undergraduates from other universities. They can get involved in the ongoing experiments. An interested student should apply to the Koç University Summer Research Program for Undergraduates.
