My research interests are in theory of machine scheduling, logistics, bioinformatics, metaheuristics, mathematical programming, operations research, and production planning and inventory control. Currently I am involved in research projects in the areas of scheduling, container terminal management and computational biology.

I teach courses in heuristic methods, logistics, project management, and scheduling.
