Research Areas - Fabrication, Testing & Analysis

Our research interest lies in a cross-disciplinary field combining solid mechanics and
materials including self-assembled nanostructures & MEMS, materials testing and
microstructure characterization.

Fabrication aspect of the research is directed toward producing nanomanipulators that
can be used for the purposes of nanoassembly or in fundamental research, e.g. for the
measurement of transport properties and materials behavior at nanoscale.

Characterization and measurement aspects are concerned with multilayers and their
behavior under various loading conditions and reliability of MEMS.
