Reserving Equipment
- To check out equipment, follow these procedures:
- TV/VCR- Sign up at Student Worker desk at front of lab
- Digital Video Camera- Notify Bill
- DVD Player- Sign up at Student Worker desk at front of lab
- CD Player- Notify Bill

| Checking out Videos and DVDs
Videos and DVDs can be checked out of Z46 at the front of the lab when a student worker is on duty.

Student Workers in Lab
- Student workers are trained to do the following tasks:
- Scanning
- Connecting/Operating digital video camera
- Check out videos and DVDs
- Check that headphones are functioning correctly

| Podium Problems in Classrooms
Send a Track-it. Under "Task Type" select "Podium", and describe problem
|

| Scheduling Classes in the Lab
At the beginning of each track, a sign-up sheet will be provided so that teachers can request weekly class times in the lab.
If you would like to bring your class to the lab once in a while, contact
Bill regarding availability. If there
are no available slots in the ELC lab, speak with Nihan who can arrange another lab via the registrar.

| Scanning
At the Student Worker area at the front of the lab, complete the "Scan Request" slip and leave your document
in the "To Scan" tray. We will have your scan ready within 48 hours. The scan will be placed in the F:\SHARE\ELC\SCAN\YOURNAME folder
and the original will be returned to your mailbox
URGENT REQUESTS: If you absolutely need your scan is less than 48 hours, you are welcome to use the scanner yourself.

| Workshops for Teachers
Computer workshops will be offered throughout the year for teachers as interest dictates.
|

| Digitizing
Send your requests to Bill. Most requests can be completed within one week.
|

| Reporting PC Problems
Send a Track-it.
|
|
|
| CD-Burner
There is a Cd-Burner in the PC located in the small office outside Bill's office.
You are welcome to use it as you like.

| Computer Workshops for Classes
Speak with Bill about scheduling a computer workshop for your class.
|
|
|
| Servicing Personal PCs/Laptops
You can speak with a CIT technician about servicing your personal computer. The service is not free.
