POST-DOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSOCIATE in 3D Displays

Qualifications:

· PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics (or MS equivalent degree and 5 years experience in research environment)

· Highly motivated and passionate about technology and working in an R&D environment

· Good experimental skills

· A strong background in design and testing of optical systems and micro-optics, and scanning systems.

· Strong publication record.

· Experience with optical design (preferably with ZEMAX), Matlab and Labview are plus

Job Description:

The Optical Microsystems Laboratory (OML) is looking for a postdoctoral researcher to join a team of researchers developing a novel laser scanning based 2D and 3D displays. The project is partly funded by the European Union 7th framework research program and a joint research project with several other European partners. Compensation is highly competitive in European standards and depends on experience. A fully furnished room in graduate student apartments can be provided for easy transition to living in Istanbul. Responsibilities include:

- Manage administration of the European research project

- Work closely with MS and PhD students in the group and other team members in Europe
