Title: Orbifold braid groups

Abstract:

Braid groups admits a description as the fundamental group of a 
configuration space of points on a Riemann surface. The same procedure carries 
over to the configuration spaces of orbifolds on Riemann surfaces and makes 
it possible to define orbifold braid groups. We are going to show that some 
Artin groups and some lattices in higher dimensional balls or polydiscs are 
orbifold braid groups.
