April 21 - Weekly Meeting & Mock Conference
KoçMUN website is back with this long-awaited (at least by me) update. As always we are having our weekly meeting tomorrow, at 5:00 PM in CAS 124. However, what is of real importance is that we will be having a mock conference on saturday, April 23, 2005. The exact time and place of the conference is TBA, but the topic is decided as War on Terrorism, Intelligence and Human Rights.

December 16 - Weekly Meeting
This week's meeting will take place today December 16, 2004 in CAS 124 (same room with last week's) We will again make a small conference simulation over a resolution, which is available from the link below. Please download, print ant bring a copy over to the conference tomorrow, for your convenience. The country listing is also available as a word document below, please take a look. November 20-22, 2004 - SUMUN Conference
The Second Annual Sabancı University Model United Nations Conference has begun. KoçMUN participation to this nation-wide event consists of seven delegates, representing four countries in three distinct committees. Detailed information for this even can be found on the "Past Events" page, under national events category.


October 26, 2004 - Website Revision
The KoçMUN Website has been updated with the new members list as well as a couple corrections to the executives section.


October 21, 2004 - Club Presentation
KoçMUN will hold another club presentation for all who are willing to join up, or to be informed about the club, its structure, activities, or Model UN in general. The meeting will be held in SOS B10, at 17:00.


October 21, 2004 - Executives meet the DoS
The KoçMUN Executive Committee will be attending a meeting held by the Dean of Students, along with the Club Advisor Dr. Şuhnaz Yılmaz, to present and clarify the club activity report as well as the club budget for the 2004-2005 academic year. The outcome of this meeting has utmost importance, as it is primarily the budget restraints which might prevent KoçMUN's participation with major international events.


October 21, 2004 - Website Revision & KoçMUN Forums
The KoçMUN webiste has undergone a minor revision, which involved the renewal of the navigation bar for better readability, and the inclusion of a link to our newly established message board (forum). To access the message board, click on "MUN Forum." The message
board will be opened in a new window. From there, you can register and log-in to the board to post messages. You don't have to register or log-in to read the boards. If you need help on how to use the messabe board, e-mail me at aportakal@ku.edu.tr



September 30, 2004 - New Website Online
The new version of the KoçMUN website has been completed, tested and is now online, right before your very eyes! Work began on the new website in June 2004, with the aim to better utilize the needs of KoçMUN members, as well as other visitors who would like to get information about the club structure, members, past and upcoming activities, and also Model UN in general.




September 27, 2004 - Academic Year Begins
The 2004 - 2005 academic year has begun. KoçMUN wishes a productive and successful academic year to all Koç University students, instructors and personnel.     
                                                      


September 23, 2004 - Newcomers' Orientation
The two-day Newcomers' Orientation for 2004 - 2005 Academic Year has begun! As with every year, KoçMUN will be among the various clubs and organizations of our university to establish a stand to make general presentations as well as to further inform any and all students interested in our club, its structure and activities. And of course, we will be recruiting new members! (many of them, hopefully)
