Operations and Information Systems Group
College of Administrative Sciences and Economics
The OPIS group teaches Operations Management, Information Systems and Quantitative Methods courses in all programs at CASE. In addition, the Group partners with the Industrial Engineering department to run graduate programs that lead to M.S. and Ph.D degrees. The Operations Research Center for Industrial and Business Systems (ORCIBS) facilitates joint research initiatives. The Group is active in many research fields including supply chain management, manufacturing and inventory systems, service operations, telecommunications networks, data mining, mathematical programming, and stochastic modeling.
