OML Introduction

OML is established in 2002 by Prof. Dr. Hakan Urey. Our Research Group is working on several projects integrating micro-optical systems and micro-electro-mechanical systems to develop novel devices and systems. The areas of interest are actuators and sensors, NEMS and MEMS, laser scanners and optical system design, micro optics, MEMS displays, 3D displays, biosensors, thermal and other imaging systems, and miniaturized spectrometers.

OML is a part of BIOPARC -Molecular Engineering and Biotechnology research- team within the College of Engineering.
